{"id":45533,"date":"2021-06-24T17:19:00","date_gmt":"2021-06-24T17:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev6.blazedream.in\/ICSF\/yemaya\/what%c2%92s-new-webby-7"},"modified":"2021-08-28T03:49:29","modified_gmt":"2021-08-28T03:49:29","slug":"what%c2%92s-new-webby-7","status":"publish","type":"yemaya","link":"https:\/\/www.icsf.net\/yemaya\/what%c2%92s-new-webby-7\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s New, Webby?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What&#8217;s New, Webby?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Bibliographies : WIF and MPA<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>The ICSF website now carries updated bibliographies of its two sub-sites: Women in Fisheries and Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).<\/p>\n<p>The Women in Fisheries (WIF) Bibliography (wif.icsf.net) has been updated with the latest documents in three thematic areas: women&#8217;s contribution to resource management; the role of women in the sectors of fish processing, trade, and MPAs; and women and community-based management.<\/p>\n<p>Some interesting articles are: \u0093Women&#8217;s contribution to food security and local economies by Sarah Harper and colleagues; \u0093Women&#8217;s participation in decision-making process in the Solomon Islands by Shankar Aswani and Pam Weiant; \u0093Women&#8217;s participation in the management of MPAs in Brazil by Regina Di Ciommo and Alexandre Schiavetti; \u0093Gendered access to fishing resources by Barbara Walker and Michael Robinson; \u0093Women&#8217;s role in the value-chain in fish processing in Nigeria by Abiodun O. Cheke; and, finally, \u0093Women&#8217;s role in the global fishery value chain by Achini De Silva and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>The MPAs site (mpa.icsf.net) has also been updated with documents on the governance of MPAs and on community-based management.
