Accordingly, several important management and science challenges have been identified. The paper considers how the knowledge gained from research on these challenges can be applied to a risk-based management framework as an essential step towards the achievement of the SDG 14 with respect to the conservation and sustainable use of marine resources for sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
