Under better production, the \u2018Blue Transformation\u2019 Programme Priority Area provides a vision for FAO\u2019s work on aquatic food systems for the period 2022\u20132030.<\/p>\n<p>The roadmap for Blue Transformation recognizes the importance of aquatic food systems as drivers of employment, economic growth, social development and environmental recovery, all contributors to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
