This book is the collaborative outcome of three individuals who have worked to build organizations of fishermen and fishworkers since the late 1960s. Aliou Sall from Senegal, Michael Belliveau from Canada and Nalini Nayak from India—live in different continents and so fisheries are situated in varying contexts.
