Department of Fisheries, Wokha held a fish feed distribution programme blue revolution (NEEL Kranti) for the year 2016-17 on March 24, 2017. A press note by Wokha fishery inspector, Mhomi Murry stated that floating feeds were distributed to 45 fish farmers of Wokha district. During the programme, DFO Wokha, Sentinaro enlightened the farmers about various types of feed required for maximum growth of fish and how correct ratio of feed and dosage could boost their annual yield. Director of fisheries, Kevisa Kense said this this flagship programme has been undetaken in all the districts of Nagaland in a bid to reach out to all the small, marginal and progressive farmers of the state.
