Two fishermen on board a mechanised boat had a miraculous escape after the vessel capsized near Kanjiramkulam on Thursday. The fishermen, Sahaya Rubert and Sesh Adhima, both from Marthandam, had ventured into the sea on Thursday morning and were engaged in fishing when the boat capsized after water seeped in through a broken wooden plank. Swimming to safety The fishermen had to swim to safety after abandoning the boat. The boat got completely damaged, the police said.
