Fisheries Minister J. Mercykutty Amma will open the district freshwater fish hatchery of the Fisheries Department near the Pookode lake in the district at 10 a.m. on World Fisheries Day that falls on November 21. The Minister will lay the foundation stone for an aqua park and an ornamental fish hatchery.
