A man drowned while fishing in a rivulet at Kambalakatte in Yenagudde village under Kaup police station limits on Wednesday. According to the police, the victim, Sudhir, was trying to catch fish in the rivulet at around 10 a.m., when there were sudden rain. Sudhir was carried away owing to the force of the water in the rivulet and drowned. A case of unnatural death has been registered and investigations were on, the police said.
