The 17th China Fisheries and Seafood Expo raised its curtain at the Dalian World Expo Center on Nov 6.
Government officials from China, Iceland, Argentina, the United States, Chile, Peru and other countries took part in the opening ceremony.
With three exhibition areas, the expo displayed seafood products, breeding technology, as well as seafood products processing and marine culture equipment.
More than 930 companies from 44 countries and regions took part in the three-day event, including nearly 400 overseas companies, Dalian Daily reported.
After more than 10 years of development, the expo has become the largest professional seafood show in Asia and the second largest one of its kind in the world.
