The fire erupted around 10am on Sunday at a warehouse in Asadganj wholesale market in the port city, fire service officials said. Four fire-fighting units managed to put out the flames after an hour, said Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Jasim Uddin. No casualties have been reported, but the cause of the fire and extent of the damage are yet to be known, he added.
