The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Dagestan has worked out a draft project of the republican target program “Development of the fishing industry in Dagestan for 2013-2017 years.”
According to the document, in 2013, 948 million rubles will be allocated for the development of agricultural sector. “Overall, the program provides 2.2 billion rubles for the industry development. Within the framework of target program, it is planned to construct facilities on the reproduction of aquatic resources, to purchase production equipment for the fish processing plants, construction, reconstruction and modernization of facilities for the implementation of the industrial fishery.
The development of the fishing industry in Dagestan for boosting reproduction, production and processing of aquatic biological resources significantly increases the efficiency of fishing enterprises with complex modern intensive technologies” – the press-service officer said.
