Climate Change Fiction:
Its Potential for Transformation

Ep.3: Marine Ecosystems and Climate Fiction from South Asia

Our last two sessions have discussed climate change fiction’s speculative capacities, and examined imaginative responses to the alienation between humans and nature through these areas of speculative fiction.

In this session moderated by Tarun K. Saint, our panelists John Kurien, Vandana Singh, Kaiser Haq and Soham Guha will focus on the predicament of the oceanic ecosystems and coastal cultures of the Global South in the wake of climate change, with reference to the anthology Ecoceanic: Southern Flows.
